Journey’s party had to include a theme dessert table. With the fantastic baking help of my Mother in law, the table included a red velvet birthday cake with cupcakes, mini brownie bites, assorted cotton candy baggies, chocolate chip cookies, caramel coated apples, animal crackers, lolli-pops and vintage candy. For drinks there was mini water bottles, juice boxes and homemade “Uptown’s” – Lemonade & Iced Tea.

To keep the kiddie’s busy, there was a bubble machine, which they loved and a Clown (Pattie Cake) also made an appearance!

Patti Cake was great with the children!

The children playing dress up!
I also included a photo backdrop so the children can take pictures. This was great because, once I sent out the “Thank you” cards, the picture of the child was on them… Received many compliments from the parents. The sign was a template I used from the Wedding Paper Divas (I think!)

At the end of the day… Let’s just say, “The children had fun and I was surely exhausted!” Journey had fun, still talks about her birthday and that’s all that matters to my heart.
